About us
At The Astute Dog, our story starts at home.
We’re a family of four with three very loved dachshunds. Like many pet parents, we care deeply about what goes into our dogs’ bowls and that includes the treats we give them.
That’s why we created The Astute Dog.
We specialize in premium single-ingredient and limited-ingredient dog treats made with real, human-grade ingredients. We believe dogs deserve wholesome treats made with ingredients pet parents can recognize and feel good about.
For us, it’s about more than simply selling dog treats. We want to help pet parents become more intentional about what they’re feeding their dogs and understand the benefits of choosing natural made treats.
You’ll often find us out in our community at local markets, pet events, pop-ups, and gatherings. One of our favorite parts of growing The Astute Dog is meeting fellow pet parents, hearing their stories, and, of course, meeting their pups.
As a family owned business, we take pride in every product we offer because we know you’re trusting us with a member of your family. We want The Astute Dog to be a brand pet parents can turn to for quality, transparency, and treats their dogs genuinely enjoy.
Thank you for supporting our business and The Astute Dog community.
