FAQ
About Our Treats
What does "single-ingredient" mean?
It means the treat is made from one ingredient and nothing else. Our freeze-dried beef liver is beef liver. Our chicken jerky is chicken breast. No fillers, flavorings or preservatives.
What's the difference between single-ingredient and limited-ingredient treats?
Single-ingredient treats contain exactly one ingredient. Limited-ingredient treats, like our Sweet Potato & Honey and Peanut Butter & Blueberry biscuits, use a short list of simple ingredients you can read and recognize.
Are your treats good for dogs with allergies or sensitive stomachs?
Single-ingredient treats make it easy to know exactly what your dog is eating, which helps if your dog reacts to certain foods. Choose a protein your dog already tolerates. Single-ingredient doesn't mean allergy-proof, so if your dog has a diagnosed allergy or is on an elimination diet, check with your vet first.
Can puppies have your treats?
Most of our treats are fine for puppies once they're eating solid food. Break treats into very small pieces, introduce one at a time, and supervise with chews.
What's best for a senior dog?
Our Soft Chews are gentle on older teeth and gums. Freeze-dried beef liver is another good option because it crumbles easily into small pieces.
What's best for training?
Freeze-dried beef liver. It has a strong smell dogs will work for, and it breaks into tiny pieces, so one treat becomes many rewards.
